Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Speak Sneak, a browser-based social party game (“Speak Sneak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who may use Speak Sneak

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. A host may allow younger guests to participate under the host’s supervision. Hosts are responsible for choosing an appropriate phrase pack and supervising their room.

2. Accounts and guests

Hosts must sign in. Players may sign in or join as guests. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your Google account. Guest sessions may not have access to private replays after a game ends.

3. Game content and conduct

Speak Sneak is honor-based. Players and hosts are responsible for resolving accusations truthfully and using the service respectfully. You may not use the service to harass others, violate law, interfere with the service, probe its security, or upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit material.

Custom phrase packs are controlled by the host who creates them. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to operate Speak Sneak. You retain any rights you already hold in your content.

4. Rooms, replays, and sharing

Game replays are private by default to the host and signed-in participants. A host may make a replay public and share its link. Public replays may include player display names, illustrated avatars, phrases, accusations, outcomes, and corrections. Do not make a replay public unless everyone involved is comfortable with that information being shared.

5. Availability and changes

The MVP is provided as available and may change, pause, or experience errors. We may modify features, phrase packs, limits, or these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be dated on this page.

6. Intellectual property

Speak Sneak, its branding, software, built-in phrase packs, artwork, and other product materials belong to Speak Sneak or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of the service or permission to copy, resell, or create a competing service from protected materials.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speak Sneak is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results. Speak Sneak will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the prior twelve months, or $100 if you paid nothing.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or maintain the service.

9. Governing law

Utah law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Salt Lake County, Utah, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
